There are some great fishing spots in Scotland. The first fishing spot is The Borders & Galloway Regions. The Borders & Galloway Regions is known for its salmon. This is because it is along the shoreline of Isle of Whithorn. This makes the great fishing spot for the people who are fishing for trout. The second fishing spot is Argyll & the Southern Hebrides. Argyll & the Southern Hebrides is split up in two different spots along the peninsula of Kintyre. There are about 50 different places where a person can do a lot of prime freshwater-angling, which makes this area very popular.I found some more information here.

Tayside is located of the northeast side of Scotland so there are a lot of major rivers around it like the the Don, Dee, Ythan, and Deverson Rivers along with a small one. The small one is Ugie is one of the best places to go salmon fishing. The fourth fishing spot is Sutherland & Northern Highlands. Sutherland & Northern Highlands gives people a lot of possibilities for people who like to angler fish. But trout fishing is also very popular here. Plus there is also a hotel close by where a chef will cook the fish that you have caught.
